With the exception of framed items*, Canon & Rare offer free delivery on all orders over £200 of rare books and prints placed through this website.

Delivery times overseas are approximately 5–10 working days. All items are professionally wrapped in protective packaging before being dispatched. This is to ensure that your items arrive in the same condition that they left us.

 

Ordering with us benefits from same day dispatch for delivery the next working day within the UK. Deliveries are fully insured where applicable. Our deliveries require a signature on delivery.

Delivery address

As all our pieces are unique and high value items, our credit card supplier requires us to deliver all internet orders to the billing address of the card.
In certain circumstances, we may be able to arrange delivery to a more convenient address, such as a work address.

 

Circumstances include:
•⁠  ⁠Existing customers well known to us

• Customers using an American Express card with an alternative delivery address on file with their card issuer 
•⁠  ⁠Professionals able to offer confirmation of their work address

 

If you are paying by credit card and your circumstances differ from these, please contact us to discuss further options. 

 

Where an order placed with us exceeds the value of £10,000: individuals are required to provide a copy of valid photographic identity document such as a passport, driving license which confirms the buyer’s full name, date of birth, and permanent residential address.

 

Companies are required to provide valid company details including evidence of incorporation, directors and the ultimate beneficial owners. Where an agent may be acting on behalf of a buyer, we will be required to identify the ultimate buyer as well as the agent as described in the above section.
